New York Jets RB LaDainian Tomlinson is upset; offended to be exact.

With Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum’s refusal to commit to bringing LT back, LT has fired back feeling betrayed to be stuck in limbo, between retiring and returning to the Jets.

Speaking to the New York Daily News’ Manish Mehta, Tomlinson aired his true feelings.

“Part of it really does suck,” said Tomlinson, who turns 32 in June. “It really does for me. To be in limbo … sometimes, I just want to say ‘You know what? I’m just going to retire.’”

“It’s kind of a messed up feeling to be in,” added L.T. “Because I feel like we had a great season. Things went well. But here there’s questions about whether I’m going to come back (with the one) year that I have left (on my contract).

“So who knows.”

Tomlinson’s 2011 salary will be $2.425 million, which isn’t a tremendously high number, especially considering the stability he brought to the RB position this season, after a sub-par season from fellow RB Shonn Greene.
