Andrew Luck still has all that humble charm Jim Harbaugh loves about him.
No, Luck has not yet purchased himself a smartphone because his simple old flip model continues to serve him well - making and receiving calls, sending and receiving text messages. No, he doesn't accept flashy endorsement deals, not until he earns the right with his performance on the field for the Indianapolis Colts.
Luck played quite a role in landing Harbaugh his first NFL coaching job. Harbaugh helped pave the path to the quarterback becoming the No. 1 overall pick in last year's draft out of Stanford.
They will be reunited as opponents Sunday, finding themselves in the strange position of game-planning against each other in Week 3 while trying to bounce back from tough losses.

It’s already been an exciting week 3. The Indianapolis Colts traded their 2014 first-round pick to the Cleveland Browns for running back Trent Richardson. Richardson was the 3rd overall pick in 2012, behind Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III.

It looks like Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is finally capitalizing on his status of being a franchise quarterback and former number one overall draft pick. Luck has done some pitch work in the past for Gatorade but has ditched the company for a new sports energy drink, BodyArmor. The company was founded two years ago by the creator of FUZE and co-founder of Vitaminwater...

Allen sat out week two's loss to the Miami Dolphins, and his return was undetermined until today.According to Colts team writer Kevin Bowen, Allen will have surgery on his hip and will miss the rest of the 2013 season.Pagano said Dwayne Allen will require...
I guess somebody listened to me. At least, that’s what I’m going to tell people. Earlier in the week I criticized the Colts offense and lack of confidence in the run game. I noted that the team needed to:
Have confidence, play with balls, and punch that ball in when needed because you have confidence that your guys can do it. If you don’t have that confidence, change the...
If you were surprised to hear the Colts had acquired Browns running back Trent Richardson through a high-stakes trade, you're not alone. The Browns shipped Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts Thursday in exchange for a 1st round, 2014 draft pick.
The move may well work out for both teams involved, but there's no doubt there's two different strategies at work...
We've just witnessed a huge trade happen on Wednesday, with last year's 3rd overall pick in the draft, Trent Richardson, going to the Indianapolis Colts. It was a win-win for both teams. With the Browns' lack of an even mediocre passing game, they couldn't utilize Richardson. The Colts' running back, Vick Ballard, tore his ACL, and his replacement, Ahmad Bradshaw...
Newly acquired Indianapolis Colts running back Trent Richardson is already with his new team, getting fitted with the horseshoe helmet for the very first time.
The Indianapolis Colts used to be a kind of boring team off the field. They didn't do much in free agency or with trades and really looked to build through the draft--but not anymore. Under new general manager Ryan Grigson the team has not been afraid to do what it takes to make the team better.
Like trade for last season's No. 3 overall pick, Trent Richardson, two games...
There are a lot of factors in the 49ers Colts game that make this a must see matchup. I know that it is still early in the season, so I am not saying this is going to be a must win game for either team. With that said there are many storylines in this game. Here is a breakdown of a few of them.

Trent Richardson! The trade between the Colts and the Brown is more embarrassing...
The Indianapolis Colts shocked the NFL by announcing that they were going ahead with a trade to bring Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson to Nap Town. However, if you follow Colts owner Jim Irsay on Twitter you knew it--or something--was coming.
That is, if you could translate what Irsay was tweeting.

No, you didn’t read the title wrong. The Cleveland Browns have decided to move their franchise cornerstone, running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts who just recently lost Vick Ballard for the season.

The Cleveland Browns traded Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday in exchange for a first-round draft pick in 2014. He will take over as Indy’s lead back after Ahmad Bradshaw was thrust into a full-time starting role following Vick Ballard’s season-ending knee injury. When news broke on Wednesday that the Cleveland Browns traded Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts for a first-round draft pick, my reaction was similar to most, and that was to laugh at the Browns. On the surface, it appeared…Read more →
State of the AFC East--cover32: Latest post on cover32:
Over the past few years, we have seen the AFC East as one of the “weaker” divisions in the NFL. The New England Patriots have dominated the Miami Dolphins, New York Jets and Buffalo Bills in the Bill Belichick-era — but 2013 looks to be a bit different.
2013 looks to be a more balanced year for the AFC East.
Cleveland can’t catch a break.
Former NFL running back Eddie George gave his opinion to TMZ about the Browns trading Trent Richardson to the Colts, and he seems to think that the Browns did Richardson a favor.
George, a former Heisman winner, said that “he was shocked to see Richardson traded,” but then added that Richardson “should be happy now, because he’s playing...
