After a 7 game win streak for the Houston Texans put to a halt, Mike, Aaron and Pat enlist the “good luck” charm of the show, Jake from the Sideline View. Last time Jake was on the show, the Texans reeled of 7 in a row, so the show goes to the well one more time. In this show the guys cover the clown names Jeremy Shockey, fans booing the home team, the disappearance of James Casey, and what to expect from T.J. Yates and much more. The show also talks about Reggie Herring and the defense and the lack of the pass rush, even Pat wonders what has happen to his man crush Brooks Reed. Once again thank for listening.

Jeremy Shockey Thinks the Texans are Un-American

As we all already know, it's an honor to live in the United States, one that it's all too easy to take for granted. Fortunately, there are heroes like Jeremy Shockey to keep an eye on slackers who don't care about America enough!Following Sunday's game against the Houston Texans, the Carolina Panthers tight end took umbrage with several Texans players. "I was...

We’re Back! And NFL Quick Hitters

T.J. Yates needs to get back on his horse Hey guys, sorry for the absence, first of all. When I started up school, I didn’t know it was going to be that hard to juggle school, work and some personal issues I’ve had over the past couple of months. Through all of that, I knew there was no way I could keep up the pace and we had started to lag in terms of consistent article...

Ryans questions how Shockey focused on national anthem

Panthers TE Jeremy Shockey called out member of the Texans on Sunday for disrespecting the national anthem. Houston LB DeMeco Ryans wonders how Shockey could've focused on the song while intently studying the patriotism of others.

The Houston Texans should run over the Indianapolis Colts this evening

As we start Week 16 of the NFL season, we now get the final Thursday night game of the regular season with the Houston Texans visiting the Indianapolis Colts. This really should not be much of a game with the high powered rushing attack of the Houston Texans likely to run over the porous run defense of the Indianapolis Colts this evening. Yes, the Colts logged their first win of...

Texans Come Crashing Back To Reality: 5 Things We Learned From Loss To Panthers

Week 15 was upset weekend across the NFL and few were more surprising than the 4-9 Carolina Panthers handily beating the 10-3 Houston Texans in Reliant Stadium. The Texans had been riding high on a franchise record 7-game win streak, but came out completely flat against an undervalued Panthers team. The Panthers wasted no time building a 21-0 halftime lead and coasting to a nice...

Take it to the Bank, Week 16

MIKE KAYE Season: 140-72 (66%) /  Last Week: 8-7 (53%) /  Scott’s Pick: 4-9-1 (0-1) My poor, poor T.J. Yates. Apparently there is a Take it to the Bank curse. Anyway, the season is literally in the home stretch with 11 of 12 the playoff spots possibly being decided this weekend. We had quite the head-turning Week 16 and the spoilers could be out in full force as the Colts proved...

Flanny's and Steve's picks and points: Week 16

Last week straight up: 9-7Season straight up: 143-81Last week vs. spread: 12-4Seasons vs. spread: 119-102-3 TEXANS (-6 12) AT COLTS (Thursday night) T.J. Yates will try to bounce back after a poor outing last week. But it won't be easy. The Colts are playing better, and though they have nothing to play for, I'm suggesting theyll make it two straight. Colts 27, Texans...

Week 16 Fantasy Football Preview: Texans vs. Colts

Houston @ Indianapolis Seriously, this is the best the NFL network could come up with? I hope they strongly consider flex scheduling next year because of this kind of ugliness. The Texans clinched the AFC South two weeks ago, and then summarily laid a fat egg last week against the Carolina Panthers, at home no less. The Colts on the other hand decided they can still get Andrew...

Week 16 NFL Picks

Last Week: 8-7  Overall: 110-103  Best Bets: 22-18-3 Monday Night: 9-7  Against Cincy: 4-9-1 Houston -7 @ Indianapolis The Colts got their win to avoid the imperfect season and have no reason to play hard and screw up their draft position.  Even if they wanted to, I’m not so sure they’d have a chance anyway.  Houston has a top defense and T.J. Yates’ poor...
