According to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com, free agent safety Madieu Williams has agreed to sign with the Washington Redskins. Williams has been contemplating over the past couple of days whether or not he wanted to sign with the Redskins or Atlanta Falcons. Williams is from Maryland and attended the University of Maryland, so signing with the Redskins is essentially a homecoming for him. This past season, the 30 year-old Williams was a back up for the 49ers and only recorded nine tackles. Williams should be a nice acquisition for the Redskins, with the loss of LaRon Landry in free agency.

Washington Redskins Cheerleaders: Masters of Holding a Football in a Bikini

The Washington Redskins cheerleaders, the First Ladies, are celebrating their 50th year in existence this upcoming season (although strangely no one has remained on the squad for the entire time) and as part of the final selection process for the team, the Redskins made the final auditions public (and sold tickets because hey, they aren't a charity—and SOMEONE has to pay the...

Torrence joined the Saints, reuniting with Gregg Williams. Torrence is one of the few players...

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck is visiting with the Indianapolis Colts today and will spend some time with the Washington Redskins on Wednesday. Giants sign Sean Locklear and Antwaun Molden

The New York Giants were very busy on Wednesday by signing veteran offensive lineman Sean Locklear, who spent last season with the Washington Redskins.  He’s hoping to come in and compete for the open spot at right tackle. Locklear can play guard or tackle, but he’ll have a shot at coming in and showing what he can do once training camp rolls around. The Giants also signed former...

- I wondered yesterday whether Redskins fans would ever express their RGIII loinfire away from the tidy confines of their obnoxious vanity license plates. The answer came but hours later, when a guy attending Monday Night Raw held aloft a giant RGIII head. Then Jim Irsay came out and said he was drafting RGIII for Team Smackdown, then Brock Lesnar ran out to deliver the F5 on him...

RGIII versus Luck will go down in 2012

One way or the other, Robert Griffin III and Andrew Luck will either be the new quarterbacks of the Washington Redskins or the Indianapolis Colts and they will be playing each other this season. Both ownerships and front offices of both teams have said that they will be intent with either one. The good thing
