Vikings reporter Tom Pelissero tweeted that Leslie Frazier talked to saftey Madieu Williams’ agent about re-structuring his contract. Williams’ agent said Williams will “absolutely not go for it”. Could that mean the Vikings are prepared to release Madieu Williams?
Nothing is confirmed beyond the point of Williams unwilling to restructure his contract, but one could only assume with his very lucrative contract and the Vikings needing to free up room in the salary cap, this situation makes Williams’ days with the Vikings a little bit in question.
