Peyton Manning met with officials of the Tennessee Titans for nearly seven hours Wednesday. The Titans are the fourth team that Manning has met with following his release by the Indianapolis Colts. Tennessee coach Mike Munchak, general manager Ruston Webster and chief operating officer Mike Reinfeldt were among those who met with the four-time NFL MVP. NFL.com reported that Titans offensive coordinator Chris Palmer prepared a playbook to show Manning how the offense would operate with him under center. Team owner Bud Adams let it be known earlier this week that Manning, who played collegiately at the University of Tennessee, is his top priority. "He is the man I want. Period," Adams said. "And the people that work for me understand that. They know who I want. I want Mr. Manning with the Titans and I will be disappointed if it doesn’t happen."
