If there is any one indication that Denver Broncos Executive VP John Elway and Head Coach John Fox have changed the culture and league-wide reputation of the franchise, look no further than Friday’s visit of quarterback Peyton Manning.
Manning, a sure-fire future Hall of Famer who is widely-acknowledged as one greatest to ever buckle a chin strap, will be visiting with Elway, Fox and Denver GM Brian Xanders on Friday afternoon, per a report from the Denver Post.
When the Indianapolis Colts released Manning on Wednesday, Elway quickly threw the Broncos’ ten-gallon hat into the ring for Manning’s services. The reports of Denver’s interest were quickly dismissed as Elway doing his due-diligence. Yet it news quickly came out that the Broncos are a serious, if not leading, contender to the land the 36-year old signal-caller.
There are a number of reasons why Manning and the Broncos could make an ideal marriage.
Firstly, as is the case in nearly every aspect of professional sports...

Guess this is how it’s going to go for the next week. One by one, team after team will be ruled out until Manning eventually signs. The first team to be ruled out?The Washington Redskins.Chris Russell of ESPN 980 in Washington appeared on SportsCenter Thursday and, citing multiple sources, reported that Manning doesn’t want to play in the nation’s capital and has already...

Should the Seattle Seahawks sign Peyton Manning
As I am sure you are well aware of the Indianapolis Colts have decided to release superstar quarterback Peyton Manning.
Few weeks, even months Seahawks fans around the globe have been discussing the possibility of Peyton Manning becoming a Seattle Seahawks starting quarterback.
Let me start by saying...
Peyton Manning had a nice, classy press conference today and was very emotional. It had to be, considering he played for the Indianapolis Colts for 14 years.

Yesterday afternoon when Peyton Manning was cut after 14 seasons with the Colts, it was the most emotional day in team history since being moved from Baltimore. Manning held a very public and emotional press conference. In the conference he talked about his past with the organization, his current health status, and of course what his future holds. He is still...
They started angry. Disrespected. No one believed they had a chance to compete without Peyton Manning. 4-12, 2-14, etc. Many a radio and television personality go against the stream of public opinion, even advocate it while simultaneously agreeing with about 90% of their colleagues. Some would call this hypocrisy. Sometimes though, you just can’t fight it, and as the 2011 season...
The Manning Move…all a part of the master plan?
First off let me say this I am an Indianapolis Colts fan, always have been but for me Peyton Manning was the only quarterback I have known in a Colts uniform. I must say that the dealings on Wednesday really made me, well upset, and here is why. How is it that you let someone that has been committed day in and day out to your...
Justin Tuck expects Peyton Manning to make any team he signs for an instant NFL powerhouse. The New York Giants defensive end just hopes it's not a team in the NFC East.
The Indianapolis Colts avoided paying Manning a $28 million bonus by releasing the 35-year-old quarterback on Wednesday, and his list of suitors is looking long. Tuck is concerned about one potential destination...
At the end of the day, the decision was by the Indianapolis Colts to cut Peyton Manning was primarily a financial one, with the franchise not willing to pay the superstar quarterback the 28 million dollars they would have owed him had they kept him past tomorrow, March 8, 2012. That and the fact that they would have taken a huge salary cap hit made this a fairly easy call by the...
With Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne now both on the market, there has been some talk of the duo shopping themselves as a package deal. Peyton probably won’t limit his options to teams that have interest in signing Reggie, but Wayne may do his best to follow Manning wherever he goes. In fact, it sounds like the former Colts receiver is already crossing his fingers that both can...
