The Juicy Online:
The lie about Manti Te'o's fake girlfriend is growing deeper in all directions, as it's being said that the faker claimed to be dating New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.According to the New York Post, who spoke with an Hawaiian beauty-pageant Tessi Tolutau, who says that she also was contacted by "Lenny Kekua" in 2008, before the fake woman duped Te'o."We would chat back and fourth," Tolutau said, who was crowned Miss South Pacific in 2007 and who is also from the same Hawaiian beach town as Te'o. "She explained to me that she played basketball at Stanford, that she was a Victoria Secret model, that she was dating somebody from Stanford. She even said she was dating Mark Sanchez."It's unknown if Sanchez talked to the fake person (most likely not), but it's believed that mutiple people fell for the scam.

Was Tim Tebow forced on Jets owner Woody Johnson? A report says that's what he was telling GM candidates whom he interviewed.
The New York Jets season is over. They will presumably part ways with quarterback Tim Tebow.
With both of those statements in mind, you would think that the subject of their pairing would begin to die down.
Jets owner Woody Johnson does not answer to anyone.
He apparently felt the need to discuss Tebow with GM candidates when the team was looking for one.

Rex Ryan and Woody Johnson have a number of options to replace Mark Sanchez who makes $8.25 million in 2013. There’s no guarantee for Sanchez to be the starter and new offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg must be looking at a number of replacements. The real problem for the Jets is the $20 million they are over the cap limit, per Brian Costello from the New York Post. While replacing...
The New York Jets are expected to part ways with benchwarmer Tim Tebow next month — and that’s prompted a Big Apple blame game.ESPN New York reports that Jets owner Woody Johnson told former Broncos general manager Ted Sunquist — who interviewed for the Jets GM job — that Tebow was “forced on him.” Most observers thought Johnson was the one who pushed to sign Tebow in...
It's been common knowledge since it happened. New York Jets owner Woody Johnson wanted Tim Tebow. “I think you can never have too much Tebow,” were Johnson's words last August. Now, he's saying it wasn't his idea, that the trade was 'forced' on him, he told a candidate for the Jets GM job, former Broncos GM Ted Sundquist.
The most confusing team in the NFL continues to be the New York Jets. The current saga of complete confusion began last year when the Jets traded for a backup quarterback, Tim Tebow. At the time, it seemed as if owner Woody Johnson was adamant about bringing in Tebow, but now, Johnson is saying Tebow was "forced" on him according to SI.com. Head coach Rex Ryan spent the...
The Jets moved up in the 2009 draft in order to grab the exuberant USC Rose Bowl star Mark Sanchez. Since then the one-time emerging quarterback’s play has fallen rapidly. Sanchez has time to be rehabilitated emotionally, but new Jets GM John Idzik may already have another plan in mind. One that includes giving the starting job to Matt Flynn, a player that Idzik helped bring...
Mark Sanchez hasn’t been demoted from the Jets’ starting quarterback spot yet. But, oh, if he is….
With the Jets finally hiring a new general manager in John Idzik, speculation has begun about what the team will do at quarterback. Tim Tebow is all but certainly gone, and Greg McIlroy doesn’t look like the quarterback of the future. While the organization may once again roll...
Former Seattle Seahawks executive John Idzik has agreed to become the New York Jets' GM, the team announced Friday. After a long search, Woody Johnson and his underlings have found their man... or should we say, their sucker. The money must have been apparently right for Idzik, or he must really love a stiff challenge.
There has been some speculation that Michael Vick could end up with the New York Jets, but a report says that is unlikely to happen.
The New York Jets will likely be looking to improve their depth at the quarterback position for next season. There’s no way Tim Tebow will be back and Greg McElory likely isn’t the long-term answer.
There’s a chance the Jets may want to look at signing Tarvaris Jackson in the offseason, since he’ll be a free agent.
In Seattle, New Jets GM John Idzik was a supporter of...

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that quarterback Michael Vick has no interest in playing for the Jets next season.Fantasy Spin:The Jets could really use a QB and with the Eagles likely to cut him, Vick could be the best quarterback on the open market this offseason. NEW COACHING MOVE ALLUDES TO 'WILDCAT' STAYING PUT -- AND, PERHAPS, EXPANDING IN 2013. If at first you don't succeed -- try, try again. The old phrase can be taken in two ways to describe the Jets signing of quarterbacks coach David Lee; 1. after losing out Lee to the Buffalo Bills last year, the Jets made sure to land Lee in their efforts to revamp their offensive unit...
