Even though the 49ers decided to be cautious with running back Marcus Lattimore by placing him on the PUP list, he told Les Carpenter of Yahoo! Sports that he believes he could practice right now. “Physically, I do feel I can practice now,” said Lattimore. Lattimore might be able to practice, but it’s not worth the risk.  The 49ers believe he’ll be able to help them on the field at some point, but the good news is that they don’t need him to play right now.
