Cornerback Marcus Trufant is out until at least Nov. 1, required to miss the first six games because of a disk issue in his back. Coach Jim Mora previously characterized it as an injury that occurred after he worked out alongside two days before training camp began.Trufant said during the interview that the injury is something that had built up over time.So something doesn't make sense, right? Well, actually look at what Trufant said. He said that initially the expectation is he could get back on the field quickly, however the more they analyzed the injury, the more tests they did, they discovered it was more serious. This wasn't an injury that all of a sudden happened, but rather something that had been building over time and came to a head before training camp began.
