New York Giants Wide receiver Mario Manningham is scheduled to become a free agent on March 13th and would like to remain in New York.
“I want to come back,” Manningham said. “I want to come back, but I don’t know what’s going to happen. I’m just going to try and enjoy this Super Bowl [win]. I’m not really thinking about it right now.”
It’s going to be very difficult for the Giants to be able to afford to re-sign Manningham to an extension because of the salary cap. And don’t forget they’ll also have to pay fellow receivers Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks sooner or later and they won’t come cheap.
