It's the season of giving and Mario Williams has taken heed.
The Buffalo Bills defensive end donated his 2009 Ford F-250 pickup truck to two Marine Corps veterans, Sgt. Justin Hunter and his wife Staff Sgt Cherie Hunter, the Jacksonville Daily News reports.
The North Carolina-based couple were chosen from a list provided by Purple Heart Homes, a non-profit organization which aids disabled veterans.
Justin Hunter served from 1990 to 2005, including two tours in Iraq. Upon returning home, he's suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and severe bouts of depression. Cherie Hunter served from 1998 to 2007 and is now pursuing a culinary career.
Williams, a native of N.C., decided to help out after learning that Cherie's vehicle, a 1999 Sonoma, recently broke down during her 140-mile trek to culinary school.
