According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Buccaneers rookie safety Mark Barron hasn’t reported for the rookie portion of training camp that begins this week.
Barron and his agent are still going back and forth with the Buccaneers regarding off set language in his rookie contract.
Right now the only top-eight pick to sign has been Robert Griffin III of the Redskins, who ended up not having the off-set language included in his contract. If the language is included in the players’ contract, his team won’t be liable for the remainder of any guaranteed money if he ends getting released and then signs with another team.
