Found September 14, 2009 on MVN Jets:
Mark Sanchez throws for 272 yards and a touchdown against the Texans. Sanchez leads the Jets to 1-0 and currently first place in the AFC east. Mark Sanchez looked like a veteran out their today finding his receivers. He completed 18-31 with his only mistake being an interception to John Busing who then fumbled to another Texan who returned it for their only score. It's obvious that Mark Sanchez success was mainly due to the offensive line who seemed to play excellent out there against a decent Texans' D-line. First week analysis: I'm very disapointed in the Texans who I thought might be a serious contender this year. I undertand it's only week one but if you don't show up against the Jets and Mark Sanchez, I can't see them showing up for many this season. Steve Slaton took this loss personal stressing how the Texans had practiced so hard in the off season and really came out flat. Well that's really an understatement. You're in Houston for your home opener and you don't show up ? How can you expect to be a playoff contender when you don't show up for your home opener?
