Mark Schlereth Dials Up Some Wins for Carolina in 2011

New head coach Ron Rivera is going to have a hell of a task rebuilding the National Football League’s worst team in 2011.  But let me tell you, he’s got someone SPECIAL in first round pick Cam Newton.  This guy has ALL THE TOOLS to make ALL THE THROWS in the National Football League.  Let me give you a run down of a few things that I’m going to be looking for, both with Newton and Rivera, to make the Carolina Panthers a LEGITIMATE. FOOTBALL. TEAM. 1. DIAL UP THE PASS PROTECTION.  As someone who played twelve seasons in the National Football League and had seven knee surgeries, I know the importance of PROTECTING THE PASSER.  When Newton is staring down the barrel of that defense, he’s going to see eleven guys DIALING IT UP to get after him and KNOCK.
