Continuing a rash of league-wide run-ins with Johnny Law, it seems Marshawn Lynch consumed more than just Skittles over the weekend.
A spokesperson for the Santa Rita sheriff's department tells the San Jose Mercury-News that Lynch was arrested on July 14 for suspicion of DUI.
Lynch, whose blood-alcohol level was over the limit, remained "cooperative" with officers, even willing to submit to a blood test when taken into custody.
The Seahawks, as most teams do in these situations, released a brief statement.
"We are aware of the situation with Marshawn Lynch and are still gathering information."
This is Lynch's second-known mishap. In 2009, a misdemeanor weapons charge landed him a three-game suspension from the NFL, and now he could be facing a repeat outcome.
