Martellus Bennett, as we've come to know him, is not afraid to speak his mind, once referring to himself as Greek god Atlas.
His latest proclamation is a bit more current, but equally as outlandish.
Following his game-winning touchdown reception against the Vikings on Sunday, the veteran tight end intimated that he's the Muhammad Ali of the Bears' offense.
"They told me, 'Man, how are you so slippery, you're so big?' " Bennett said, via the Chicago Tribune. "I was like, 'I'm Muhammad Ali out here.' "
It's an exaggeration, sure, but Bennett has definitely stepped up his play this season. He has 10 receptions for 125 yards and three touchdowns through two games, proving to be a safety blanket for quarterback Jay Cutler.
"Whenever he's gotten opportunities to make plays, he's made some big ones," Cutler said of Bennett.
