Jacksonville writer: Colts a debacle

Jacksonville has mired in medicrity (at best) since 1999 with few glimpses of "above average."  That doesn't stop Tania Ganguli of the Jacksonville Times-Union from accurately declaring the Colts' season a "debacle."  I guess it's better than reading about the Jaguars... Maybe they were too good, had too much success, won far too often. Maybe fate...

Colts coach Jim Caldwell has picked quarterback Curtis Painter to start Sunday's game against Carolina. Painter replaced the injured Kerry Collins against Pittsburgh in September and has started every game since then.
