Doug Baldwin barely made it into the NFL in 2011. As an undrafted free agent he signed with the Seattle Seahawks, and then became their leading receiver. Building on that momentum, Baldwin started working out with the guy who could make or break his sophomore year, Matt Flynn.
The two met in Pensacola Florida this week to start getting their timing down.
Baldwin who will face stiff competition from high priced free agent pick up Sidney Rice, is getting a head start on Rice.
Matt Flynn is impressed from what he’s seen so far:
“Last year, Doug being undrafted, obviously, I’m sure he had something to prove coming in, a chip on his shoulder, and he more than proved he belongs on the field,” said Flynn, according to the Pensacola News Journal. “He broke the record last year and he’s a very dynamic guy. I’ve been throwing to him for only two months but I can already see how he’s a special player and will be around for a long time.”
