PLAYERS: Matt Prater
TEAMS: Denver Broncos
Matt Prater has a special place carved out in Canton. SI.com reported Tuesday that Prater will send his cleats to the Pro Football Hall of Fame -- the same cleats he used to kick the NFL-record 64-yard field goal in Week 14. The Broncos' veteran kicker said he'll only relinquish the cleats after the season, however. With Denver pegged among the favorites to reach the Super Bowl, Canton's curators might have to wait until February to receive the famous footwear. A seven-year pro, Prater has connected on all but one of his field goal attempts this year -- 20-of-21. He's made 80.5 percent of his kicks in his career.
