According to Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com, at the scouting combine, Texans head coach Gary Kubiak indicated that quarterback Matt Schaub should be healthy enough to go full speed by May, after undergoing Lisfranc surgery on his foot this past season.

Schaub is going into the final year of current contract and will need to prove that he can lead the Texans deep into the playoffs, if he wants to cash in during free agency.

If Schaub didn’t go down with a season ending injury in 2011, we could argue they may have would up in the Super Bowl.
