Mawae Removed From Titans PUP List

Titans 16-year veteran center, Kevin Mawae, has been removed the team's Physically Unable to Perform list, clearing his way to practice. Mawae was on the field this morning and will participate in today's practice, although he could be restricted to individual drills. He is targeting his return for the regular season opener on Sept 10 in Pittsburgh. Mawae, 38, was named to his seventh Pro Bowl in 2008 but he was unable to play in the game after suffering the injury against the Steelers on Dec. 21. He also missed the regular season finale and playoff loss to the Ravens.
