(AP Photo) There will be a fresh voice calling Denver Broncos games on 850 KOA this season — former wide receiver Ed McCaffrey will join Dave Logan as a color commentator.  McCaffrey will be replacing former quarterback Brian Griese, who will see an expanded role in ESPN’s college football coverage beginning this season. Several other Broncos will join McCaffrey in covering the team for KOA this year, press release after the jump. ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos and 850 KOA are pleased to announce the addition of Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway, Head Coach John Fox, quarterback Peyton Manning and running back Willis McGahee to 850 KOA’s Broncos coverage this season. Additionally, 850 KOA has announced that former Broncos wide receiver Ed McCaffrey will handle color commentary for the station’s Broncos play-by-play coverage beginning in 2012. McCaffrey will work with Dave Logan, who is entering his 16th year as the radio play-by-play voice of the Broncos. McCaffrey replaces Brian Griese on the broadcast, as the former Broncos quarterback is taking on an expanded role with ESPN’s coverage of college football this year. Now in its 43rd season as the flagship station of the Denver Broncos, 850 KOA is heard on over 60 Broncos Radio Network affiliate stations throughout Colorado and the Western U.S during its gameday coverage.
