According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, with the Oakland Raiders currently $12 million over the 2013 salary cap, they could end up releasing both wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey and linebacker Rolando McClain.
Heyward-Bey is scheduled to make over $7 million in 2013, while McClain is set to earn over $4 million.
I could see the Raiders dumping McClain because of his off the field problems. I think Heyward-Bey will end up taking a pay cut.
