Blount can be added to the casualties of Sunday's 48-3 loss to the 49ers.TAMPA — The Buccaneeers learned today the extent of the injury to second year defensive tackle Gerald McCoy.McCoy left Sunday’s 48-3 loss the 49ers in the first half after he violently bent his legs the wrong way as they were pinned under another teammate.McCoy never returned to the game, and watched the Bucs get pounded from the sidelines, aided by crutches and a boot on his foot.It was initially feared that McCoy had broken a bone in his ankle, but those fears were later settled with news he merely had a high ankle sprain. An MRI taken today confirmed this and Raheem Morris has listed McCoy’s status to play as “week-to-week”.Another injury the Bucs endured on Sunday was to running back LaGarrette Blount.
