Inside the Bills:
Bills CB Terrence McGee was active for Sunday’s game against the Eagles, but he never took the field in the 31-24 win. That won’t be the case this coming Sunday when the Bills travel to the Meadowlands to play the Giants.
Bills head coach Chan Gailey explained the approach the staff took with McGee on Sunday and the plan moving forward.
“We were trying not to play him,” said Gailey. ”We were trying to get through the game without playing him and if we could let him have one more week of getting completely healthy all the better. He’ll play this week.”
Whether McGee re-assumes his starting left cornerback position or fills the slot role in Buffalo’s nickel package as he did at times in training camp remains to be seen.
