Dallas Cowboys rookie cornerback Morris Claiborne could miss at least a week with a sprained left knee.
Claiborne watched the team's walk-through practice Saturday morning standing by a coach. He says it's frustrating to miss more time.
The Cowboys drafted Claiborne with the sixth overall pick in April after trading up eight spots and giving up their second-round pick. He missed offseason workouts while recovering from wrist surgery, but is still expected to be a starter.
Claiborne got hurt toward the end of practice Wednesday, then got treatment the following day, an off day for the team. After trying to practice Friday, he came off the field and later had an MRI that revealed a sprained MCL.

Jerry Jones has been talking a lot junk lately about the Giants, they seem to be his main focus this season.

Funny thing is John Mara or the Giants aren’t even concerned with...
The owner of the Dallas Cowboys knows quality when he sees it. That is one big reason as soon as Jerry ones saw one Lawrence Vickers available he went out and signed this work horse to his Dallas Cowboys football team as soon as it was humanly possible. Vickers started his pro football career with the Cleveland Browns, a team that didn’t realize what they had with Vickers until...

According to Josh Ellis of DallasCowboys.com, Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins has left training camp to have his shoulder examined by Dr. James Andrews. He’s expected to be back on Monday.
Jenkins has been held out camp as he continues to rehab his shoulder after undergoing surgery this offseason. I don’t believe there’s a timetable for his return at this point.
Recently at the Dallas Cowboys' training camp, owner and general manager Jerry Jones told his fans, "Y'all should come to Cowboys Stadium and watch us beat the Giants' asses." The 5,000 Cowboys fans that attended cheered after hearing the remark.
