Found November 27, 2012 on NFL Draft Zone:
This week Janoris Jenkins showed why he should have been a first round pick.  The former Florida Gator put the St. Louis Rams defense on his back as he picked off two of Ryan Lindley passes and returned them for touchdowns in the Rams win over the Cardinals.  Jenkins was one player that everyone felt like ragging on in the beginning of the year.  No one wanted to give him the time or day, because of his children.  People wanted to throw the young man under the bus, because of previous mistakes. Jenkins had went his entire senior season at North Alabama without a problem, before being drafted later by the Rams.  It didn’t matter to the football player though, he overcame the drama and has become a shut down corner in the NFL.  Expect big things from Jenkins in the future.

Janoris Jenkins paying dividends for Rams

Jeff Fisher expressed nothing but confidence when the St. Louis Rams drafted Janoris Jenkins and since the rookie made history he looks like a genius. Jenkins became the first rookie since 1960 with a pair of interceptions returned for touchdowns in the same game. – GatorSports.com According to Fisher the Rams did a tremendous amount of research into Jenkins and was sure they...

Jenkins returns 2 picks for TDs, Rams win 31-17

St. Louis' long takeaway drought ended spectacularly in the desert. For five games, the Rams failed to force a single opponent turnover. Then on Sunday, they intercepted rookie Ryan Lindley four times in his first NFL start. Janoris Jenkins took two of them back for touchdowns in St. Louis' 31-17 victory over Arizona, the Cardinals' seventh loss in a row. ''...

Jackson turning back the clock to lead Rams

ST. LOUIS - Rams coach Jeff Fisher admitted after their 27-13 loss to the New York Jets last week that he probably should have given running back Steven Jackson more carries. He didnt let the same mistake happen twice. Jackson had a season-high 139 rushing yards on 24 carries to help lead the Rams to a 31-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals on the road Sunday. It was his second-most...

Rams WR Amendola back in walking boot

ST. LOUIS (AP) Danny Amendola was pretty much a decoy last week, limited by a heel injury. The St. Louis Rams leading wide receiver was back in a walking boot Wednesday and watching at practice. Amendola, who has 51 catches and an 11.3-yard average, was optimistic about playing Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. He was on the field for just seven snaps in last week's victory...

Jenkins returns 2 picks for TDs, Rams win

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- No NFL rookie since 1960 and no Rams rookie ever accomplished what cornerback Janoris Jenkins did on Sunday. The second-round draft pick with off-the-field issues through his college career returned two interceptions for touchdowns and St. Louis dominated the second half to hand the Arizona Cardinals their seventh loss in a row, 31-17 on Sunday. Arizona...

Rodger Saffold: quietly elite in pass protection

I'll be honest, I didn't expect to be writing this article. Not after Rodger Saffold's rookie promise evaporated in an all-around-awful 2011 season. Not after Saffold worked his way back to the starting lineup, only to be laid out flat on a stretcher in the first quarter of his first home game back. Nope, I was, rather petulantly and rather foolishly, willing to write...

Janoris Jenkins Takes Two Ryan Lindley Interceptions Back for Touchdowns (Animations)

Either Janoris Jenkins was really good on Sunday, or the Cardinals’ quarterback situation has reached an all-time low. It looked like it was actually a little bit of both. The Rams’ rookie cornerback intercepted Cardinals rookie quarterback Ryan Lindley twice, and he took both picks back for touchdowns. The first appeared to be a good read by Jenkins — jumping LaRod Stephens...

Jenkins' two interception TDs lead Rams past Cardinals

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Cardinals' game against the St. Louis Rams represented a microcosm of Arizona's season. Something that started with so much promise completely disintegrated. The Cardinals flexed their muscles early Sunday behind rookie quarterback Ryan Lindley, making his first NFL start, but when things began to unravel, it was too much to overcome. Arizona lost...
