The last couple weeks have been some crazy ones for the wide world of sports. It seemed like thanks to Lance Armstrong and Manti Te'o anyone and everyone that had some kind of gripe or dirt they wanted to air decided to do so all at once.
Lots of them didn't make sense. They happened so long ago you couldn't help but wonder why in the world were they becoming news now? For example, take the Dan Marino Love Child Scandal.
In case you missed it during the week prior to the Big Game, former Miami Dolphins great and long time commentator for CBS Dan Marino was discovered to have fathered a child with a former CBS employee, Donna Savattere.
To make the long story short, the affair happened back in 2004 with the baby--Chloe--being born in 2005. Dan had Donna move to Texas and paid her off with a pretty sum of money to keep the whole thing secret. It has been reported that he paid her millions, but exactly how much is not known.
So why now? How come this is news so...
