The finals have come and gone in most leagues. Hopefully many of you are celebrating championships. Inevitably, most aren’t. After looking at what happened in Week 16, we’ve put together the Fantasy Football Lumps of Coal Team. Quarterback: Eli Manning (New York Giants)  had a dreadful day against Baltimore. Manning hit 14-of-28 passes for 150 yards with one touchdown and absorbed three sacks. People had to think that Giants would screw their heads on the right away after getting blanked by Atlanta the week before. Apparently not. Manning had 3500 yards and 20 touchdowns for the season before this lump of coal. Baltimore is a middle-of-the-road team in terms of pass defense so this is still quite shocking. Running Back: Arian Foster (Houston) Arian Foster has been running wild on the leag...

Foster should suit up in Week 17

There's no such thing as good timing with an injury, especially in fantasy football. However, severe injuries that occur in the final weeks of the season can often effect two seasons as rehab and recovery can carry over through the offseason and into the following year. Several notable players suffered injuries in Week 16 that could affect their draft position in 2013. Heath...

#TheLaMorteReport NYG Short Memories @JLaMorte21

The New York Football Giants look like they once again forgot that nothing is handed to you, especially in the NFL! This time it looks to be too late, needing a win against Philly, a Cowboy loss to Wash, Green Bay to beat Minnesota, and the Bears to fall to a Lions team that cannot get out of it’s own way, just to make the playoffs. It was just last season where they were...

A Little Girl’s Letter About Arian Foster’s Heart Is The Most Adorable Thing You’ll See Today

Lately, we’ve been trying to focus more on the positive side of sports news and gossip, which means more Dirk Nowitzki dressed up as Dr. Satan for the benefit of children or Daniel Bryan letting a little boy with cancer tap him out and less TMZ comparing women to sows. Even that had Kate Upton pictures in it. This trend will probably reverse when the new year drops and suddenly...
