It has come to our attention that there exists an indie pop band from Barcelona named Manel. This outfit would be of little consequence to us, save for the fact that it is fronted by a beardy little hipster named Guillem Gisbert, who bears a striking resemblance to Aaron Rodgers. Now, it is possible this is a crafty alias concocted by Rodgers to indulge his chill bro side without being mobbed by press and adoring fans. With Packers fans being everywhere in the States, he was forced to create a foreign persona. That Gisbert plays in an indie pop foo-foo band only lends credence to that theory. However, if that is not the case and this is just an uncanny doppleganger, then I hope there is also a Spaniard version of Mike Mayock, because that would be the lispiest person in human history. The post Meet The Spaniard Version Of Aaron Rodgers appeared first on Kissing Suzy Kolber.

Rodgers admits he's not playing his best

The Packers haven't started off the season as well as the team expected and quarterback Aaron Rodgers concedes that he's not playing his best football.

Green Bay Packers poor second half cost them game against Indianapolis Colts

The Green Bay Packers were outplayed badly in the second half against the Indianapolis Colts and it cost them the game.Green Bay looked great in the first half as they jumped out to a 14-0 lead over the Colts.  The Packers took a 21-3 lead into halftime and it looked like they would cruise to an easy victory. But then the second half was played. It became immediately clear that the...

Packers victims of their own press?

Last season, the Green Bay Packers followed up their improbable Super Bowl run to close out 2010 with a 15-1 regular season record.  As a team, the Packers seemed on top of the world; they were unstoppable. But with one of the most prolific offenses in NFL history, the Packers opportunistic defense has been less than desirable; an Achilles heel so to speak that cost the Packers...

Epic Facebook conversation between NFL Quarterbacks; Brandon Weeden is on Google+ though

Big ups to the guys at ProFootballMock.com. No sign of Brandon Weeden or Colt McCoy anywhere... Follow this link for the whole epic conversation.

The Colts won last week because Andrew Luck outperformed Aaron Rodgers

While I have never jumped on the bandwagon of a football player, I have to admit Andrew Luck was very impressive this past weekend.  When coming out of Stanford, I was pushed away from the Andrew Luck love because of the media. As a scout, I knew he was a great quarterback, but I to say he is the best player coming out in 10 years, and all the the love he was getting was ridiculous...

Green Bay Packers vs. Indianapolis Colts: Hero and Zero of the Game

I can think of few things more appropriate than a team, whose head coach announced earlier in the week he would be out, likely for the season, as he battles a treatable form of Leukemia, being beaten down in the first half only to come roaring back as if they were battling for their lives, to upset the Green Bay Packers 30-27.While it may be breast cancer awareness month, it might...

NFC Best? The NFC West Makes a Strong Super Bowl Case

“Offense wins games; defense wins championships.”Whether or not that’s how the phrase originally went is moot. Unless you’re the 1999 St. Louis Rams, simply outscoring the opponent with nothing but copious offensive firepower just doesn’t cut it. Many a quarterback with a 40 TD/8 INT season has been sniped in the playoff thicket by sharpshooter corners and artillery linemen...

Packer player: “Refs are out to get us this year”

So far this season it doesn’t matter if it’s the replacement officials or the regular officials, but the Green Bay Packers have been forced to deal with a lot of tough calls this season.“It’s definitely on us as players,” one Packer told Lori Nickel of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. “But I think the refs are out to get us this year.”Even though the Packers have had...
