Fox Sports Detroit:
It was no surprise that Detroit Lions receiver Calvin "Megatron" Johnson was named Saturday to the Associated Press' All-Pro team.
That was a no-brainer for the guy who broke the NFL record with 1,964 receiving yards for the season.
What's amazing is that Johnson, widely considered the best receiver in the game even before this season, wasn't one of the unanimous choices.
Johnson was selected by 49 of the 50 voters in a panel of reporters around the country who cover the league.
The only unanimous picks were Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson and Houston defensive end J.J. Watt.
Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who had eight sacks, was named to the second team.

Ndamukong Suh ripped the Packers' defensive line for a mistake they made late in the game against the Niners. See what he said.
When Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz arrived to the team in 2009, he brought along the wide-9 technique that had helped him be successful with the Titans. A scheme predicated on pressure on opposing quarterbacks, it highlighted the strength of the Lions defense which was the defensive line.
However, after a disappointing season that only resulted in 4 wins changes may need...
As the Packers were getting ready to be eliminated from the playoffs by San Francisco 49ers, Lions DT Ndamukong Suh made sure to get his shots in at the Green Bay defensive line as they jumped offsides on a crucial 4th and 1.

Record-setting Detroit Lions star Calvin Johnson was named to the AP All-Pro First Team on Saturday, joining Chicago’s Brandon Marshall at the wide receiver position. Johnson was the lone Lions player to make the 27-man first-team roster, though DT Ndamukong Suh earned a second-team nod.
Johnson, despite breaking Jerry Rice’s single-season receiving yardage record, fell one vote...
Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson simply obliterated Jerry Rice’s single season receiving yards record with 1,964. Johnson also had 122 catches and 5 touchdowns to be named to the Pro Bowl.
Johnson was not shockingly named a unanimous selection to the NFL’s All Pro team which the supreme individual honor each year for NFL players.
There were two players who received...
Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh settled a lawsuit filed by a woman who was in Suh’s car when he crashed in his hometown of Portland, Oregon in December 2011.
Saadia Van Winkle, the plaintiff, was a passenger in Suh’s car. Her suit sought $1 million from Suh claiming negligence, recklessness and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The suit also accused Suh of...
Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh didn't endear himself to the Twitter world during Green Bay's loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday.
