Top draft pick of 2012 Melvin Ingram left the game in Minnesota with a deep thigh bruise this Thursday.

The injury will put him out of the Chargers final preseason game but is expected to be back very soon.

Sources around practice say Ingram was working out with a medicine ball and was looking good.

A general sense of relief with all the injuries the team has been dealing with lately. The bright side is that many of the main components should all return for the season opener.

Expect Ingram to play versus the Raiders in week one. He's as tough as they come and if he can play, he will.
