Rashard Mendenhall is active for Sunday's gave against Tennessee but is the third-string running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Mendenhall has a hamstring injury that limited him in practice this week. He will cede his starting spot to Isaac Redman, and Jonathan Dwyer will serve as backup with Mewelde Moore also sidelined.
Mendenhall leads the Steelers (2-2) with 173 yards on 58 carries. Redman has 107 yards on 22 carries.
On defense, the Steelers are without injured defensive end Aaron Smith, linebacker James Harrison and nose tackle Casey Hampton, who have 10 Pro Bowls among them.
