David Garrard and Chad Ochocinco are hoping they can help the Dolphins contend in 2012.
The 2011 NFL season was up and down for the Miami Dolphins as the team started the season 0-7 before rallying to win six of their last nine games in order to turn in a semi-respectable 6-10 record.
After finishing last season on such a high note, the Dolphins had their sights set on acquiring future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning and making a run towards the playoffs this season.
Unfortunately, Manning had no interest in even talking to the Dolphins, who then turned their attention to former Packers backup turned free agent Matt Flynn, who also spurned the advances of Miami, even though his former offensive coordinator Joe Philbin had taken over as head coach.
