U.S. troops based in Afghanistan had some fun and spoofed the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders’ “Call Me Maybe” video. Fins Productions — the company that made the original Dolphins cheerleaders rendition of the Carly Rae Jepsen song — uploaded the video to their YouTube channel with this description: “Troops stationed in Afghanistan recently sent us their very own version of our Call Me Maybe video! Watch how they match our video move for move! To all of our troops serving our country... Thank you from the Miami Dolphins Family.”

The Palm Beach Post is reporting this evening that former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jabar Gaffney has been suspended for two games by the NFL. It is not currently known what the reason for the suspension is. This might explain why the Dolphins, a team in need of help at the wide receiver position, waived Gaffney two days ago.
Gaffney, 32, posted a career best season last year...
The Miami Dolphins have done something very well during their 3 game losing streak….they’ve turned the ball over. The Dolphins have turned the ball over 7 times in the last 3 games and not created a turnover on defense. That, if you’re scoring at home, is the perfect recipe to losing football games. Every coach in the NFL will tell you that winning the turnover battle...
The Miami Dolphins coaching staff rearranged the Dolphins practice schedule this week to give the players off for Thanksgiving. The Dolphins practiced on Tuesday, a day that they are usually off, so that they could spend Thanksgiving with their families. Hopefully, the Dolphins coaches ‘family’ approach will pay off as they continue preparations for the Seahawks tomorrow...
The Dolphins were in the driver seat for the playoffs a few weeks ago. Now they're just trying to compete.
After going a red hot 13-1 in week 11, I went 2-1 on Thanksgiving day. For the season that makes it 106-57. I'm still in striking distance of .750 for the season.
Let's take a look at week 12.
Minnesota at Chicago - The Vikings are coming off...
Let's say you are Joe Philbin. Your team has come off three losses in a row to teams that are not that much better than you are, and one of those teams completely blows you out of the water. For the...
Come here for the best Miami Dolphins blog on the web. We have all of the most up to date new and opinions on the Dolphins organization for its fans.
The Dolphins will have a pretty good list of unrestricted free agents on their roster come the spring of 2013, but backup linebacker and special teams standout Jason Trusnik no longer will be on that list. Trusnik has signed a two-year contract extension worth $2.17 million.
DAVIE, Fla. The act of looking ahead comes naturally to fans and media members.
In contrast, NFL coaches and players admit to looking no farther than the next opponent usually.
I think now you have to look ahead, Miami Dolphins linebacker Kevin Burnett said Friday. You better understand what youre playing for.
We have to understand that we have to put together a string of wins...

Seattle Seahawks (6-4) at Miami Dolphins (4-6)
As I mentioned in the Tennessee/Jacksonville write up, one situation I love betting on is road favorites after a bye. It’s strong for divisional matchups, as teams are 22-3 ATS as divisional road favorites off a bye since 2002, but that trend is still 22-12 ATS for non-divisional matchups and 44-15 ATS overall, so it’s not like it’s...

Headline: Seattle Seahawks Take Show on the Road vs. Miami in Week 12
The Seattle Seahawks emerge from their bye this week and head south for an encounter with the Miami Dolphins, a team that looked lackluster to say the least on national television against the Bills last Thursday night. With one of the better runners in the NFL, an emerging passing game...
When Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin and offensive coordinator Mike Sherman came to South Beach, they had visions of an up-tempo, fast-moving offense that moved the chains and kept defenses on their heels. Through 11 weeks, Philbin hasn't gotten the results he'd like, and he can pinpoint it to one telling number in the Dolphins' 4-6 campaign. “The thing that I...
Leon Lett was part of three Dallas Cowbo Super Bow teams. Lett was a two time pro bowl player. Yet, the most memorable plays of his career are blunders.
The most memorable play of Lett’s career happened in a game against the Miami Dolphins in 1993.That day the Texas Stadium was covered with snow and sleet as a rare storm pounded the area. Dallas led 14-13 with 15 seconds left...
