It could have been the first full game week in the Miami Dolphins system for J.T. O’Sullivan or Tommy Grady, both of whom also worked out on Nov. 15, along with Tom Brandstater (who signed to the practice squad).
Instead, it’s veteran quarterback Patrick Ramsey who is getting acclimated to his new surroundings. Now 31, the former first-round pick owns a 10-14 record as an NFL starter, all from his time with the Redskins (2002-05). From there he bounced to the Jets, where, coincidentally enough, he backed up Chad Pennington for a year, and then on to the Broncos for two more years, where he helped the young pairing of Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall blossom.
