If the owner of the Miami Dolphins has any say or thought on the matter, then the starting quarterback to begin the 2012 NFL season will be the incumbent, Matt Moore, and not the team’s No. 1 NFL Draft pick, Ryan Tannehill.
And to you, David Garrard, you could have probably stayed at home for another season, unless you feel comfortable wearing a baseball hat and carrying a clipboard, because it appears clear that you have no shot at wresting the starting QB gig from either Moore or Tannehill.
Ross told Jeff Darlington of the NFL Network that he believes that Moore has the best shot entering OTAs.
“I don’t think they’re going to rush [Tannehill] into anything,” Ross said. “He’s going to have to win the starting job. I think Matt Moore will probably be the starter, and I wish him the best.”
