Found August 30, 2012 on Kramerica Sports:
After a disappointing preseason, Miami Dolphins General Manager Jeff Ireland will work out veteran wide receiver Donte Stallworth. According to a report by Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Ireland is “hosting a number of workouts for receivers at the team’s Davie facility today and a league source confirmed that Donte Stallworth, who was cut from the New England Patriots earlier this week, is one of those players.” Stallworth is somewhat of an odd choice considering the fact that he struck and killed a pedestrian in South Florida while a member of the Cleveland Browns in 2009. The 10-year veteran pleaded guilty and served just 24 days in jail and two-years of house arrest. If he is able to make the team, Stallworth could have some fantasy value as a low-end number three wide receiver in very deep leagues. The fact that the Dolphins very little talent at the wide receiver position could give Stallworth a chance to receive multiple targets each game.

Dolphins ‘crash’ in preseason finale with cut day looming

The Miami Dolphins just completed one of their worst preseasons in team history.  For only the 3rd time in franchise history, the Dolphins failed to win a preseason game.  The crazy thing is, the losses aren’t THAT terrible, but it’s how they Dolphins have looked that is troubling.  Last night, in the 1st quarter, the [...]

Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders Pre-Season Debut

In what was probably the best cheerleader showdown of the preseason, on August 10th the Dolphins took on the Buccaneers.   Which means that the Dolphins cheerleaders and the Bucs cheerleaders were in the same building doing their thing on the same field.  That to me is an event. Boy is it hard to determine which squad is better.   The fun however, is in watching them and not...

The 10 Best Moments From The Fourth Episode Of Dolphins ‘Hard Knocks’

This week’s episode of “Hard Knocks” was a vast improvement over the week before. Even if this season suffers for a lack of big personalities, the series is always able to tease quotes and tidbits out of players that we can use to make fun of them for the rest of the season, if not longer. And so it will be with Ryan Tannehill not knowing how the NFL divisions and conferences...

Miami Dolphins' Plane Hits Another on the Tarmac

The Miami Dolphins, followed by HBO's Hard Knocks cameras everywhere this preseason have had a rough go of it so far. Rookie coach Joe Philbin and his team finished the preseason winless and are set to embark on their season in a tough AFC East with a rookie quarterback, a shaky defense and very few skilled players. Even flying in charters seems to be too much for the team to...

Ryan Tannehill thought the Chiefs were in the NFC East

Getty During Tuesday night’s Hard Knocks episode on HBO, it was revealed that Dolphins rookie quarterback<a href=""I wasn't a huge pro fan growing up; I wasn't loyal to any one team," said Tannehill, "so I don't really know the divisions, and even really conferences. I know most of the conferences but some of those, I really have no clue. And...

Ryan Tannehill doesn't know his NFL divisions on Hard Knocks

The buzz surrounding Hard Knocks has dissapated since the dramatic release of Chad Johnson from the Miami Dolphins.  On this week's episode though we got a classic Hard Knocks moment showing Dolphins rookie QB Ryan Tannehill channeling his inner Ryan Lochte.  Watch as Tannehill tries to vaguely guess which NFL team is in which NFL division, saying the Kansas City Chiefs...

NFL Preseason Preview: Cowboys vs. Dolphins

The NFL odds look to be in the Cowboys’ favor for their preseason finale against Ryan Tannehill and the Miami Dolphins, but stranger things have happened, especially in exhibition play. Dallas is coming off a 20-19 win last week over the St. Louis Rams, though the score looked much closer than it really was. The Cowboys were actually up 17-3 after the first quarter and 20-6 at...

Patriots trade for wide receiver Greg Salas

The Patriots traded a late 2015 round pick to St. Louis for wide receiver Greg Salas. The trade gives the Patriots the depth they needed after releasing veteran wide receivers Deion Branch, Donte Stallworth and Jabar Gaffney. Last season the rookie out of Hawaii was showing signs of promise before he broke his leg halfway through the season, catching 27 balls for 264 yards. Hopefully...
