DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -- Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Paul Soliai and cornerback Dimitri Patterson have been ruled out of Sunday's game against Atlanta because of injuries. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill participated fully in practice Friday and is listed as probable with a right shoulder injury. Receiver Mike Wallace (groin) and center Mike Pouncey (ankle) were both limited after being added to the injury report during the week, and they're listed as questionable. Safety Chris Clemons (hamstring) and linebacker Koa Misi (knee) were also limited and are listed as questionable. Soliai left last week's game against Indianapolis with a left knee injury. He has been part of a three-man rotation at the two tackle spots that also includes Jared Odrick and Randy Starks.

Mike Wallace questionable Sunday vs. Falcons

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace has been listed as question for Sunday's matchup with the Atlanta Falcons after being limited in practice Friday. Wallace was dealing with a groin injury in the preseason and it looks to have been reaggravated during Wednesday's practice...

The Miami Dolphins Have the Best Quarterback in the AFC East

That's right. At this point in time the Dolphins have the highest rated quarterback in the AFC East. According to Pro Football Focus, Ryan Tannehill is the 9th rated quarterback in the entire NFL. Tom Brady is at 20, EJ Manuel is at 26, and Geno Smith is at 28. And no, none of this is a misprint. Tannehill has quarterback rating of 94.2. Brady's rating is 74.1,...

30-Year Phiniversary: The Debut of Dan Marino

The day was September 19th. The year was 1983. The opponent was the Los Angeles Raiders and the scene was Monday Night Football. It was a day that would change the Miami Dolphins franchise forever and for the better. The Dolphins did not win that humid, September night at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, but what they did witness was the debut of the greatest quarterback ever...

Dolphins’ Injury Report: Dion Jordon, Dannell Ellerbe, Mike Pouncey, Ryan Tannehill

The Miami Dolphins take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.  Porpoises (yes I know it is a technically inaccurate term for a Dolphin) versus birds.  Moreover, the Dolphins are acting like the Jets listing 16 players on their Week 3 injury report.  16 flipping players!  Man, throw me some chum and cut out this glum.  Did head coach Joe Philbin get wind that a New Englander does...

Dolphins' Tannehill upgraded to probable, Wallace questionable

Dolphins defensive tackle Paul Soliai (knee) and cornerback Dimitri Patterson (groin) both key starters are listed as "out" for Sunday's game against Atlanta. That could be a boost for the Falcons who will be without five injured starters when they visit Sun Life Stadium. The good news for Dolphins fans is quarterback Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) was upgraded to probable...

Dolphins Try for First 3-0 Start Since 2002

It hasn't been since 2002 since the Dolphins have opened the season 3-0.  With wins over the Browns in week 1 and the Colts in week 2, the Dolphins will attempt a 3-0 start this weekend against the Falcons.  If they succeed, it will be the first time they go 3-0 since 2002. Speedy Wallace helps Miami get off to fast start

Ex-Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Mike Wallace watched his former team on TV this week and described the experience as weird, in part because they lost. That didn't happen much when Wallace played for them. Now Pittsburgh's 0-2, while Wallace's surprising Miami Dolphins are 2-0. He's not gloating about the Steelers' poor start, however. ''I still wish...

Miami Dolphins: 2013 Week 3 NFL Power Rankings (#19)

Last week: 21 The Dolphins are 2-0 and could definitely be 3-0 in a week if they beat the banged up Falcons in Miami, but they’re more likely to be this year’s Arizona (4-0 in 2012) or Buffalo (3-0 in 2011) than a legitimate playoff contender. I don’t think they’re going to be as bad as either of those two teams ended up, but they’ve played a very easily schedule through...

5-Year Phiniversary: Ronnie Runs (And Passes) Miami past Pats

Philbin: Wallace practices like he plays

BY NICK ST. Then his attitude improved.Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said earlier in the...

Fan sends his friend to the hospital over argument involving the Jets and Dolphins

This past weekend, a Dolphins fan named Joshua Grayson ended up getting into a heat argument with his friend who is a Jets fan. His friend allegedly poked him in the forehead and said the Dolphins “lose all the time.” It sounds like Grayson then flipped out and slammed his buddy’s head into the driveway about 15 times,  which ended up landing him in the hospital. Grayson was...

Falcons at Dolphins: Who has the edge?

The Miami Dolphins host the Atlanta Falcons in the team's home opener at Sun Life Stadium in Week 3 of the 2013 NFL season. 2-0 Miami will face their toughest test of the young campaign when they take on 1-1 Atlanta, a team many believe are Super Bowl contenders. The Dolphins surprising start makes this one of the more anticpated matchups of the week. The key injuries...

Injury report: Wallace, Pouncey questionable

BY NICK ST. DENISWe knew defensive tackle Paul Soliai was unlikely to take the field this weekend. We also knew cornerback Dimitri Patterson was likely a no-go, as well. What we didn't know, however, was that two of the Miami Dolphins' most important offensive players -- receiver Mike Wallace and center Mike Pouncey -- were only 50 percent possibilities for the team's...
