Found July 17, 2013 on Gridiron Grit:
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd failed to live up to expectations with just 45 receptions for 562 yards and two touchdowns through 16 games (three starts) during his rookie season. His inconsistency in separating from defenders as well as his occasional mental miscues were two of the main reasons why he was unable to emerge as the legitimate complementary No. 2 receiver to Larry Fitzgerald, but there’s reason to believe that the former first round pick (No. 13 overall) out of Notre Dame will be able to burst onto the scene as a reliable receiver (and fantasy option) with a breakout 2013 campaign. Photo Credit: One of the main reasons will be the addition of veteran quarterback Carson Palmer.  Last season, John Skelton, Kevin Kolb, Ryan Lindley and Brian Hoyer combined for a 63.1 passer rating and a 11:21 TD-to-INT ratio. To put things into perspective, that combined passer rating is actually 3.8 points lower than what Mark Sanchez tallied last year. Eve...

Fitzgerald admits to being a Vikings fan

Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald admitted that he remains a fan of the Vikings after growing up in Minnesota and being around the team as a kid.

Mathieu motivated by Mayock

Arizona Cardinals CB Tyrann Mathieu says he is motivated by the perceived slights towards him from NFL Network's Mike Mayock.

Larry Fitzgerald misses Kurt Warner

Go ahead non-Arizona Cardinals fans, try to name a couple of the starting quarterbacks the team has had since Kurt Warner retired three and a half years ago. What you end up with is a group of mediocre passers, none which have a chance to start this year outside of Kevin Kolb with the Buffalo Bills. So you can’t blame receiver Larry Fitzgerald when he recently said on  NFL Network...

Larry Fitzgerald Likes Minnesota Vikings

Following the news of Colin Kaepernick wearing a Miami Dolphins hat and Cam Newton admitting he still roots for the Atlanta Falcons (when he’s not playing against them), the Cardinals’ website has reminded us that star wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald remains a fan of the Minnesota Vikings. “I grew up a Vikings fan and I would be lying to you if I didn’t say I was still... Bruce Arians 20th best coach in league

With the start of NFL training camps only a week away for most teams, there are plenty preseason rankings looking at both players and coaches currently floating around the web.

Tyrann Mathieu Using Mike Mayock’s Remarks As Motivation

Arizona Cardinals rookie defensive back Tyrann Mathieu enters his NFL career with no shortage of motivation. The very feisty and incredibly instinctual versatile product out of LSU not only wants to prove that he’s learned from his past off-the-field troubles and has what it takes to succeed at the next level, but he’s also apparently found added motivation in the form of...

32in32 – #1 Arizona Cardinals

by Michael Richard-Webb     The Arizona Cardinals went 5-11 in 2012, which was a disappointment compared to how the season was expected to be with QB Kevin Kolb.  After an amazing and surprising 4–0 start, it seemed they could finally get back in the playoffs, but they lost 11 of their final 12 games. [...]

Larry Fitzgerald admits to being a Minnesota Vikings fan

Another day, another NFL player admitting they still have emotional ties to the team they rooted for when they were growing up.  This time, it’s Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Through the team’s official website, Fitzgerald admits he still roots for the Minnesota Vikings when they aren’t playing against his own team and even has friends on the team. I grew up...

Larry Fitzgerald is a Minnesota Vikings Fan?

Fans have been faced with some unsettling images of late. San Francisco 49ers fans have had to deal with their quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, wearing a Miami Dolphins hat. Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton admitted to being a die-hard Atlanta Falcons fan, and says he cheers for them whenever he isn't playing them. What the ****? What are these guys talking about?...

'Real QB' excites Cards' Campbell

USA Today Sports Calais Campbell is a big fan of new Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer. July 15, 2013 Remember football? Yes? The Cardinals report to camp in just 10 days -- crazy, right? -- and while last year went (ahem) poorly, there's a cliche about how every team is a contender in training camp. True, it's just a cliche, and the Niners and the Seahawks are really...
