The Other Paper:
Michael Strahan might be known as one of the busiest working men on television these days but you can now add sexiest (in some quarters) to that list too.
The former New York Giants defensive end has been showing a lot of his metro side since getting the co-hosting gig on "Live with Kelly and Michael" but yesterday he revealed a lot more when he stripped down to nothing but a velvet curtain and construction boots for this week's "Sexiest Man Alive" issue of People magazine.
Actor Channing Tatum was crowned this year's sexiest man for his role as a male stripper in the film, "Magic Mike" but in the magazine centerfold it will be Strahan doing all of the grinding.
In keeping with the theme of the film, a video of the photo shoot —where Strahan is transformed "from a co-host to a male stripper" dressed as a construction worker — was shown on his morning talk show. The gap-toothed "NFL on FOX" host looked pretty comfortable stripping down for the female crowd. Co-host Kelly Ripa sure seemed overly titillated when she expressed her excitement (even for her) to see what was behind the curtain.
The issue will be on newsstands Friday Nov. 16.
Some other tidbits that the Giants all-time sack leader will share with readers had to do with his personal hygiene.
"I get manicures, pedicures, facials, massages. I do it all. No shame in my game," he said. "But I won't get waxed — that looks like it hurts."

The New York Giants went into the season with a huge question mark at the number three wide receiver position. The departure of Super Bowl hero Mario Manningham, who left via free agency for San Francisco, opened the door of opportunity for one of the Giants young receivers.
Wideouts Ramses Barden, Domenik Hixon and Rueben Randall all would get a chance to prove themselves to...
Per a report for the New York Daily News Gary Myers, New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin was so frustrated with his 2-time Super Bowl MVP quarterback Eli Manning that he used “terrible” and “foolish” to describe instances where Manning should have protected the ball better versus trying to make a play. Coughlin typically generalizes his criticism publicly, rarely singling...
According to Mike Garafolo of USA TODAY Sports, the New York Giants worked out running back Joseph Addai this week.

The Giants have an open roster spot, since they just placed rookie defensive tackle Markus Kuhn on season ending injured reserve.
The word “elite” get thrown around in football a lot, but no one really knows what it refers to. Does it mean that player is currently Top 5 among their position? Does it mean they’re Top 10 at their position all time? Or does it mean that they’re a future hall of famer? To Phil Simms, it may be an even higher honor.
Simms created some controversy on Monday when he said that...
Despite their struggles in the last three weeks, Giants head coach Tom Coughlin decided to give his players a full week away from football to relax, recuperate from nagging injuries, and self-scout the tendencies that has seen a 6-2 record slide to a 6-4 mark. Meanwhile, this week, Coughlin and his assistant coaches will take a comprehensive look at everything that has gone into...
Former Giants legend Phil Simms believes Eli Manning of the New York Giants isn't an elite quarterback in this league despite he has won two super bowls.
The current NFL analyst on CBS said this past Monday said Eli Manning is a tremendous player, but he is not up their with Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgerts, etc.
His reason is that Eli Manning isn't the type of...
Kickers don’t matter.
Fantasy. As everyone who has played fantasy football is aware, the difference between a win and a loss is often just a couple of points and sometimes a fraction of a point. Every year there is one kicker that rises above the rest. Last year, Akers finished ahead of all kickers with 166 total points (actual points not fantasy points), thirty-four more points...
