Former Atlanta Falcons running back and free agent Michael Turner has been fined $1,000, sentenced to 12 months probation and ordered to serve 30 days of community service for the reckless driving charge he pleaded guilty to on Feb. 28, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Photo Credit: AtlantaFalcons.com Turner, 31, was arrested and charged with DUI last September after a Gwinnett County officer clocked him driving 97 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.  But he had the DUI charge dropped and pleaded guilty to the reckless driving charge on Feb. 28. The 31-year-old became a bruising force in the Falcons offense when he joined the team as the first big free agent addition under the Mike Smith-Thomas Dimitroff regime in 2008. Turner rushed for 1,699 yards with 17 touchdowns in his first year with the Falcons and ran for over 1,300 yards in two of the next three seasons before injuries and the emergence of Jacquizz Rodgers limited him to 800 rushing yards in 2012. Why Are “Experts” Sleeping On The Atlanta Falcons?
