Michael Vick, the perennially sacked Eagles quarterback, who just accepted a significant pay cut to remain the QB for Philadelphia, seems to be getting more chances at redemption than Charlie Sheen. Vick, who’s notorious for serving 23 months in prison for his role in the gruesome dogfighting ring in which pit bulls were trained to be vicious and many were killed and drowned in the process, is now apparently getting training lessons for hs dog.
Wait, Michael Vick is even allowed to have a dog? Perhaps Jerry Sandusky should be allowed to be a Boy Scout leader, too.
The controversial sports star announced last fall that he owned dogs. And now it seems that he’s actively training his dog Angel, a Belgian Malinois, at a New Jersey-area PetSmart. It’s safe to assume that the training doesn’t involve electrocution when the cherished pup fails to walk properly on a leash.

If the Philadelphia Eagles pursue safety Kenny Phillips in free agency, they might be able to thank LeSean McCoy for making it possible. If you don’t recall, it was McCoy who put a juke on Phillips in Week 4 of 2012 that caused him to twist his knee and do some damage to his MCL and PCL.

It seems like just yesterday that teams from all over the NFL were stuck in a bidding war for Nnamdi Asomugha. The Eagles eventually won the cornerback’s rights, which led to Vince Young dubbing Philadelphia the “Dream Team.”
The “Dream Team” moniker didn’t last with the Eagles, and neither did Asomugha. The team will release the 31-year-old corner on Wednesday, according...

According to Les Bowen of Philly.com, both the Eagles and Texans have reached out to Eric Winston following his release from the Chiefs last night. Word is, the Eagles were one of the first two teams to reach out to Drew Rosenhaus, who represents Winston, and so many other former Miami Hurricanes. The other team to express immediate interest apparently was the Texans, who drafted...

The Eagles will not release cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha on Wednesday, SportsRadio WIPs Howard Eskin reported.
Eskin originally reported that Asomugha would be released by the Eagles Wednesday.
Asomugha, who signed a four-year, $60 million deal before the 2011 season was set to make $15 million for the 2013 season. The Eagles, if they release him, will owe him $4 million, regardless...
Someone isn’t telling the truth.
First report this morning were saying Nnamdi was gone, but now there is a lot of conflicting information.
Source tells me Eagles are NOT planning to release Nnamdi today. So, there’s that. #PrematureNnamdilation
