If you were fired from the job you love, lost potential future earnings of over $130 million dollars, and were currently awaiting imprisonment because your two "best friends" in the world threw you to the wolves (pun intended)? You just might need to roll a joint too.

  • I was thinking the same thing.
  • The media have spent OVERTIME kicking dude when he is down, YES he made horrible choices about the circle he runs with but WE GET IT !!! ESPN and other media outlets have dug up and killed dude a million times. It's just OVERKILL !
So yeah Mike have a Fat one and kick back and Chill you DESERVE a break today ... LOL !
  • Amen brotha, speak on it!!!
  • At least he was smoking at home this time and not trying to sneak it through Airport Security.
  • I would be drunk all day long if I knew I was going down like that. He might be a pro ball player, but he is going to face tossing the salad, and THAT definitley would make anyone want to get messed up! What do you think? will he prefer jelly or syrup?
  • Throwing it back to HBO documentary days, now you know you ain't right! Seriously though, he will probably get the star treatment from the other inmates since he is being convicted for a "thuggish" type of crime. It is the COs he has to worry about, or bribe. Work out all day and try his best to stay in football shape, which I think is impossible at the QB position. I guess in VA they drug test everyone? Seemed kind of strange to me that he was tested before being sentenced, but I guess they are treating the time being as if he was on parole.
  • I think this is completely bull-dung that these folks are just shamelessly piling on dude! He stands to lose millions, perhaps hundreds of millions in NFL salaries and endorsement deals should his professional career be over, so I ask, is it the end of the worl if he smoked some herb to calm his nerves? Not to be disconcerned of what he did but damn, insurance executives have ruined people for their life savings and haven't gone through this much. What's going to end up happening is, the powers that be are going to continue to overkill this and turn Vick into a martyr and the public is going to forgive him and begin to sympathize with him. Ever heard of redemption?
  • ESPN is the obvious overkill. The News channels have their paws in it. I don't think NFL network has been all bad with the coverage since the original story broke by comparison, but they are the minority. Not a week goes by that Bill Mahr drops an intensely weak Vick joke on his show, not one yet has been funny, and it is to the point now that even his audience gives that weak response as to say "Ok a couple of us are going to laugh because we are your fans but it is old now". His life will never be the same and he is about to have plenty of time to think on it, the irony is that Miss Mary Jane is what blew the lid on the whole operation. Talk about a full circle.
