Like fellow NFC East quarterback Tony Romo, Michael Vick has long dealt with detractors and questions about his abilities, primarily in regard to reading defenses.
When broached about the subject this week, the Eagles' veteran signal-caller decided enough's enough, bashing the "ignorant" critics who, in his eyes, "know nothing about football."
“I’m really tempted right now to just say no comment to that because like I said a second ago, you don’t last 12 years in the NFL not being able to read the defense,” Vick said, via PhillyMag.com. “Those people who are talking and saying that are just ignorant, and they know nothing about football. Unless they turn on the film and watch my game and see what goes on, then they’ll replace those comments with the right comments.”
Another interesting take out of Vick's interview was his admission that new Eagles coach Chip Kelly taught him how to properly hold the ball when scrambling.
