Bleacher Report:
Agent Joel Segal announced in a phone interview with the Associated Press that quarterback Michael Vick had once again joined the NFL as he signed a two-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Vick hasn't seen playing time in the NFL since his '06-'07 season with Atlanta.
Vick, who was once the highest paid player in the league, was released after serving 18 months of his 23 month sentence for his involvement in illegal dog fighting.
Since his release, Commissioner Roger Goodell granted Vick a conditional reinstatement with the league where he would be able to sign with a team, participate in practices as well as two preseason games. There is the possibility of him being able to play in the regular season games by Week 6.
Most teams in the league could use an extra QB of Vick's caliber but were hesitant due to the possible backlash that they would receive from their fans.
Vick, the 2001 No. 1 pick, will play behind Donovan McNabb, Kevin Kolb, and A.J. Feeley.
