Michael Vick’s career has had more up and downs than a rollercoaster, but his last hurdle is a tough one. Philadelphia has begun the evaluation process, releasing Jason Babin and benching Vick for Nick Foles.

One of the greatest running quarterbacks in NFL history now is fading faster than a cheap pair of jeans. However, Vick is handling his demotion with class and maturity.
“I’m a competitor, and I’ve always felt like and will continue to feel like I’m one of the best and can play at a high level,” Vick said, via Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News.
“I want to be out there, I want to play, but it’s just not the ideal situation right now, I have to accept my role, accept it like a man, and continue to find positives out of it.”
