Michael Vick will be with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2013 on a restructured contract, as first reported via Twitter by Adam Schefter and was confirmed on PhiladelphiaEagles.com. Geoff Mosher of CSNPhilly is reporting that it’s a three-year deal, but the final two years can easily be voided.  This essentially makes it a one year contract.  The value of the contract is reportedly “up to” $10 million with a minimum of $5.5 million. Mosher is also saying that Vick will compete — not be handed — the starting job. However, Vick himself has made statements since December that he’s “not a backup” and is a “full-fledged starter.”  He had also stated he wants to be assured that he’s the starter wherever it is he ends up playing. Unless Vick had a change of heart about what his true options were for 2013, it sounds as if he will at least have “first dibs” on the starting job.  Once more details about his contract come out, that will help identify whether or not we should truly expect him to
