Eagles head coach Andy Reid mentioned that QB Michael Vick still hasn’t been cleared from a concussion that he suffered a few weeks ago.
“If the young guys are available to play, we’re going to put them in and play them,” Reid said. “If that’s the situation, I’m not going to hesitate to do that. But we’ll see how things go here as we continue to roll on.”
Vick reportedly failed a test on Monday, so it seem unlikely that he’ll be able to return for Week 13. Nick Foles has filled in for Vick the last two weeks and thrown for 542 yards to go along with 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions. Foles hasn’t played great in relief of Vick, but he has been asked to play behind one of the leagues worst offensive lines. Philadelphia gets to travel and play the Cowboys on Sunday night.

Vick got one more in him?
First of all my condolences to all the Eagle fans on their 2012-13 season, I really didn’t expect things to get this bad. As a matter of fact I actually picked the Eagles to win this division when I did the season previews for this site. Well after last nights loss to the Panthers in prime-time the Eagles fans are wondering what do we go from here...
Philadelphia Eagles: Where Will Andy Reid be Coaching Next Year?
In a year that began with the team owner saying that another 8-8 season wouldn’t be enough for Andy Reid to keep his job and the starting quarterback claiming that the Eagles were about to be a dynasty, a 3-8 start with seven consecutive losses surely wasn’t the way the long-time Philly head coach drew things up.
So if team owner Jeffrey Lurie is true to his word and lets Andy...
The Philadelphia Eagles Fired Someone… And Guess Who It Was? Yep, Not Andy Reid.
Another Eagles executive has gotten the boot, and it wasn’t Andy Reid. Tim McDermott, Philadelphia’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer, was the one to be fired.
Via CSN Philly:
In a prepared statement released through the Eagles, McDermott said, “The Eagles and I have parted on amicable terms. I have nothing but good things to say about the Eagles and the...
Eagles vs. Panthers Week 12: The “Real” Preview
The 3-7 Philadelphia Eagles take on the 2-8 Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football in scintillating Week 12 action. I’m sure this “battle of the disappointments” isn’t what the schedule-makers had in mind when they put this on the calendar last spring.
It was supposed to Cam Newton, the rookie sensation in 2011, versus the resurgent Michael Vick. The Panthers appeared...
Embattled Eagles, Andy Reid stay the course
A seven-game losing streak won't get Andy Reid to change his ways.
As usual, Reid accepted blame and pointed the finger directly at himself following the Philadelphia Eagles' latest loss, 30-22 to the Carolina Panthers on Monday night.
''I take full responsibility. There's a way to get through and I'm not doing it right now,'' Reid said Tuesday....
Eagles Injury Report: Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy, DeSean Jackson
The Philadelphia Eagles were without quarterback Michael
Vick and running back LeSean McCoy last night against the Carolina Panthers,
while wide receiver DeSean Jackson and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox sustained
injuries during the team’s loss, reports Greg Rosenthal of NFL.com.
Wide receiver DeSean Jackson suffered a rib cartilage injury
against the Eagles, and rookie...
Monday Night Football: Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles Preview and Prediction
Monday Night Football will feature a game that few outside of Carolina and Philadelphia will care about tonight. The 2-8 Panthers head to Philly to take on the 3-7 Eagles. Both teams have clearly struggled all season, so it will be interesting to see which team steps up in this game.
The Eagles aren’t looking too good, as Andy Reid is on the verge of getting fired and Michael Vick...
Eagles make Panthers look like favorites
With a rookie quarterback and a running back making his first start since high school, the Philadelphia Eagles will try for their first win in two months.
No wonder even the Carolina Panthers (2-8) are favored on the road.
The struggling Eagles (3-7) have lost six straight games entering Monday night's matchup against Cam Newton and the Panthers. They won't have Michael...
Head Coach Profiles: David Shaw
Now that the Eagles have lost that ever so important 8th game, it’s time to really break down the head coaching candidates. Eagles Team Owner Jeffrey Lurie stated in the offseason that 8-8 would not be good enough for Andy Reid to keep his job. At 3-8, it’s safe to say Andy Reid will get the axe sometime before the new year.
There are a handful of candidates that really jump...
Pathetic Eagles Lose Again while Andy Reid Brings Back Memories of Richie Kotite Era
The Eagles drop their seventh-straight, this time to Carolina, as Andy Reid's hourglass sands drop non-stop. Justin Henry has all the details.
Panthers at Eagles preview
Not that the woes of Andy Reid and the Philadelphia Eagles have been flying under the radar, but now things could turn uglier as they come under the national spotlight.
Is Fighting For Pride Enough For Andy Reid and the Philadelphia Eagles?
Tonight the Philadelphia Eagles (3-7) will be hosting a Carolina Panthers (2-8) team who is, per their 2012 record, a smidge worse than the Birds of Philly. And while a lot of Philly fans see this season of high expectations a bust and are looking towards the offseason, nobody inside the NovaCare Complex is ready to give in.
Now, with the hope for a playoff appearance all but out...
Jason Babin Just Another Example of How Andy Reid Changed
One year removed from an 18-sack season, Philadelphia Eagles DE Jason Babin was abruptly released yesterday. I don’t mean to pile-on here, but I can’t say I’m sad to see him go.
In fact, I was very surprised they signed him (again) in 2011.
I normally do not play the “I told you so” game, but…I told you so. Back in June of 2011, I wrote an article saying why I didn’t...
The Best Moments From Panthers-Eagles
Another week gone by and the Phillies have still won a game more recently than the Eagles have. The best would be if the Flyers won a game before the next time the Eagles did. And that’s with the NHL losing a full season to the lockout.
Not that Andy Reid had any chance of salvaging his job with a good performance in a prime time game against another team, but he couldn’t even...
Bryce Brown Fantasy Forecast
Up until this past Monday night, the only real hatred towards Andy Reid was coming from Philadelphia Eagles fans. But after Bryce Brown racked up 178 yards and two touchdowns against the Carolina Panthers, Reid can add fantasy owners to the list.
The Eagles are notorious for wanting to throw the ball. So much so, that LeSean McCoy could be arguably be perceived as a better wide receiver...
